Just ahead of the Galaxy Note 7 sale in India, Samsung has slashed the prices of the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge in India by atleast Rs. 5500.

Xiaomi Redmi 3S and Redmi 3S Prime will be available today (August 24th) on Flipkart and Mi.com. Both phones were launched in India earlier this month, and come with a 5-inch 720p HD IPS display, octa-core Snapdragon 430.

Reliance is expanding its Jio user base. After extending Jio 4G Preview offer to Samsung and LG smartphones, the company has just added Asus Zenfone and Panasonic Eluga smartphones to the list as well.

Android Nougat has just been out for a few hours and even most Nexus devices haven't got the update yet. But Sony wanted to clear the air on which smartphones and tablets in its range will get Nougat update at some point.
