Moto Z with MotoMods launching in India on October 4th
Lenovo has begun sending out invites for the launch of the Moto Z with MotoMods in India. Announced at Lenovo Tech World 2016, the Moto Z devices which include the Moto Z, Moto Z Force and Moto Z Play feature a unique modular design which augments their functionality or feature-set with the help of attachable modular components called MotoMods.
The company has unveiled Battery power pack MotoMods, Style Shells, Insta-Share Projector, JBL SoundBoost speaker. We believe all of these would be coming to India as well, with a style cover or battery back bundled with the devices.
The Hasselblad MotoMod with 10X optical zoom, Xenon flash was also unveiled recently, but quite possibly that won't be coming to India anytime soon.
Coming to specs, both the Moto Z and Moto Z Force run on the Snapdragon 820 quad-core SoC with 4GB RAM, Android Marshmallow. The Moto Z Play on the other hand makes do with the Snapdragon 625 for daily tasks.
We will be covering the event live to bring you details on pricing and availability as they become available.
