Xiaomi today launched the Mi Note 2 and the Mi MIX smartphones in China. While both phones showcase the future of Mi smartphones, the Mi MIX more than anything else, neither of these phones will be launched in India.

China's smartphone market has been seeing a major shift of late. With Samsung out of the picture, Oppo has taken pole position with 16.6 percent market share and Vivo following closely behind at 16.2 percent, Huawei at number 3 and Xiaomi at fourth spot.

Along with the Mi Note 2, Xiaomi also announced its Mi MIX smartphone which was a concept till now. The 6.4-inch display wielding smartphone doesn't have any bezels giving it a whopping 91.3% screen-to-body ratio.

Meizu has just launched a new smartphone in India. The Meizu M3S comes with a fingerprint sensor and metal body starting at Rs. 7999.

Xiaomi today launched the Mi Note 2 in China with a curved dual-edge display similar to the Galaxy S7 Edge. You also get a curved glass back on the phone with a frame sandwiched in between running on Snapdragon 821 starting at Rs. 27700 (2799 Yuan).
