A new version of Android is coming. Google has just released the first Android O Developer Preview which lets developers have a look at the underpinnings of the new OS and all the new features it will bring.

Xiaomi has just launched its latest 4G VoLTE smartphone in India, the Redmi 4A priced at just Rs. 5999. Its priced cheaper than the Redmi 3S which was launched last year and comes with similar specifications.

Xiaomi is all set to launch one of its more budget friendly smartphones in India, the Xiaomi Redmi 4A, which runs on the Snapdragon 425 processor and comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB onboard storage. The device will be an Amazon India exclusive.

OnePlus has started sending Android 7.1.1 Nougat based Oxygen OS 4.1.0 update to both the OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T smartphones. Just as the company promised, both of its models are getting updates more or less at the same time.

LG G6 was anounced at MWC 2017 last month. Today US carriers have begun taking pre-orders for the G6 and there are a lot of freebies on offer, including a Google Home with almost all operators and some have also thrown in a LG Smart TV.

Vivo Y66 was launched in India today. The latest in the range of selfie-focused smartphones from Vivo comes with a 16-megapixel front facing camera with a soft moonlight flash to capture selfies even in lower light.

Google had started rolling out Android 7.1.2 beta for Nexus and Pixel devices at the end of January and now it seems the public build is ready for prime time.

Samsung has finally started rolling out Nougat update for the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge in India. Apart from the Android 7.0 Nougat build, the 1.3GB update also brings performance improvements and under-the-hood optmizations.
