Google to start rolling out Android 7.1.2 Nougat Update on April 3rd
Google had started rolling out Android 7.1.2 beta for Nexus and Pixel devices at the end of January and now it seems the public build is ready for prime time.
The new incremental Nougat update to the platform is now expected to come to Pixel and Nexus devices come April 3rd, according to Android Central.
Apart from the usual bug-fixes, performance improvements, the new update is also going to bring carrier specific fixes including VoLTE support on some. This is just speculation at this time but given that Roger's in Canada too has set a similar timeline, we may see the update roll out soon.
