OnePlus Nord CE6 Launching in India on May 7th with 144Hz Display, Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 SoC, 8000mAh Battery, AI Features

OnePlus has revealed additional details about the hardware and software of the upcoming smartphone, the OnePlus Nord CE6. The company has already confirmed that the smartphone will launch in India on May 7 at 12:00 PM IST, alongside the OnePlus Nord CE6 Lite, marking the return of the “Lite” variant to the lineup.

The OnePlus Nord CE6 will be offered in three colour options: Fresh Blue, Lunar Pearl, and Pitch Black.

Hardware and Performance -

The Nord CE6 is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 mobile platform and features a dual-chip architecture, including a dedicated Touch Reflex chip that enables an ultra-fast 3200Hz instant touch sampling rate.

Key hardware highlights include:

• Battery: 8000mAh capacity
• Charging: 80W wired fast charging and 27W reverse charging
• Display: 1.5K resolution with a 144Hz refresh rate
• Audio: Dual stereo speakers with up to 300% volume output
• Durability: MIL-STD-810H certification along with IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings

Camera Specifications -

The Nord CE6 is equipped for everyday photography and video, with both front and rear cameras supporting 4K Ultra HD recording.

• Rear Camera: 50MP primary sensor with dual-axis OIS for improved stability and clarity
• Front Camera: 32MP sensor with autofocus and a wide field of view, ideal for group shots and sharp facial detail

Software and AI Features -

The device will run OxygenOS 16, bringing a range of new software enhancements and AI-powered tools.

• Google Integration: Native support for Gemini Live and Circle to Search
• AI Editing Suite: Includes AI Portrait Glow, AI Perfect Shot, AI Eraser, AI Unblur, AI Reflection Eraser, AI Detail Boost, and AI Reframe

Availability -

Pricing, availability, and launch offers for both models will be announced at the May 7 event. The OnePlus Nord CE6 Lite succeeds the Nord CE4 Lite, which was previously the top-selling Android smartphone by value and volume in the ₹15,000–₹20,000 segment during Amazon’s Great Indian Festival 2024.

Both the OnePlus Nord CE6 and Nord CE6 Lite will be available via Amazon.in, as well as through the OnePlus India online store and offline retail channels after launch.
