OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra and Ace 5 Racing Edition launched with up to 6.83-inch FHD+ 144Hz AMOLED display, Dimensity 9400+/9400e SoC
OnePlus has launched its latest smartphones in the Ace 5 series, the Oneplus Ace 5 Ultra Edition and Ace 5 Racing Edition in China, as previously announced. The Racing Edition features a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, while the Ultra Edition boasts a larger 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a smoother 144Hz refresh rate.
The Ace 5 Ultra Edition continues the series’ signature design with a flat display and a right-angled middle frame. Its camera module includes vertically aligned dual cameras and a flash, enclosed by rounded metal edges. It comes in three color options: Burning Titanium, Phantom Black, and Breeze Blue.
One standout feature is the dedicated “shortcut key” located on the left side of the device. In addition to standard scene switching options like mute, vibration, and ring mode, users can assign up to eight customizable functions, including one-click RAM cleanup, mute, translation, and screen recording.
Under the hood, the Ultra Edition is powered by the flagship Dimensity 9400+ chipset, paired with the Lingxi touch chip and e-sports Wi-Fi G1 chip, alongside the Fengchi gaming core. This setup delivers powerful gaming performance and maintains stable frame rates with just 1% low frame drop.
To manage heat, it includes the new “Glacier Cooling System”, featuring a 7300 mm² vapor chamber (VC) and an additional 4000 mm² cooling area on the back cover. The phone is backed by a 6700mAh battery, supports 100W fast charging, and offers bypass charging for better heat control during gaming.
The Ace 5 Racing Edition comes equipped with the Dimensity 9400e processor and shares the Fengchi gaming kernel for consistent gaming at native 120fps and 1% low frame drops. It also includes an advanced glacier cooling system with a total heat dissipation area of 29,772 mm², including a 7000+ mm² Super VC. It packs a larger 7100mAh battery with support for 80W flash charging.
