OnePlus 13s to be launched on June 5th in India with 6.32-inch 1.5K 120Hz LTPO display, Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC
OnePlus has officially announced that the OnePlus 13s will launch in India on June 5, 2025, after a series of teasers. Positioned within the OnePlus 13 Series, the 13s is designed to deliver flagship-grade performance and integrated AI capabilities in a compact form tailored for one-handed use. The phone will be offered in three India-exclusive colors: Black Velvet, Pink Satin, and Green Silk.
Performance Highlights -
The OnePlus 13s is built for high performance in a smaller footprint, powered by the Qualcomm® Snapdragon® 8 Elite platform. It’s designed for smooth multitasking, advanced AI processing, and immersive gaming, even in high-temperature conditions.
To address thermal challenges typically associated with compact smartphones, OnePlus has equipped the device with a 4400mm² Cryo-Velocity Vapour Chamber, claimed to be among the largest in its category. Additionally, a back cover cooling layer enhances heat dissipation, helping to keep the device comfortable during extended usage such as video calls, gaming, or use in hot environments.
Battery and Endurance -
OnePlus touts the 13s as offering the longest battery life ever in a compact smartphone. Internal testing indicates up to 7 hours of continuous Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) gameplay, 24 hours of WhatsApp call time, and 16 hours of Instagram browsing on a single full charge.
Design -
The OnePlus 13s showcases a clean, minimalist design, particularly evident in its simplified camera module. With a slim 8.15mm profile and weighing just 185g, the device is crafted for comfortable one-handed use. It features 50:50 balanced weight distribution and 2.5D curved glass on both the front and back, enhancing grip and ergonomics.
The phone will be available in three color options: Black Velvet, Pink Satin, and the India-exclusive Green Silk. Inspired by the olive tree, the Green Silk variant symbolizes growth and renewal, while continuing OnePlus’s legacy of signature green tones. Both the Green and Pink versions introduce a new Velvet Glass finish, offering a soft, smooth texture.
Plus Key -
A standout new addition is the Plus Key, a reimagined version of the traditional Alert Slider. This customizable button allows users to quickly switch between sound profiles—Sound, Vibration, and Do Not Disturb—and can also be configured to launch AI features or other preferred functions.
360° antenna system and G1 Wi-Fi chipset -
To overcome signal challenges common in compact phones, the OnePlus 13s is equipped with an advanced 360° antenna system comprising 11 antennas. This includes three high-performance modules for enhanced gaming and streaming, and a four-mode ultra-wideband low-frequency antenna that improves overall signal reception. A proprietary signal-balanced mode further boosts connectivity by minimizing signal interference caused by hand placement.
The device also debuts the G1 Wi-Fi chipset, touted as India’s only independently integrated smartphone Wi-Fi chipset, promising reliable and fast connectivity even in signal-poor areas like public transport or buildings. As part of the OnePlus 13 Series, the 13s will support 5.5G connectivity, enabling simultaneous connections to multiple network cells for improved mobile performance.
Additional details about the OnePlus 13s will be revealed at the official launch event. The phone will be available via Amazon.in, the OnePlus India online store, and authorized offline retailers.
