Now you can lock Apps with fingerprint sensor on the Redmi Note 3
Xiaomi has started rolling out a new OTA update to the Redmi Note 3 with bug fixes and the ability to lock apps with the fingerprint sensor.
Xiaomi, at its launch event for the Redmi Note 3 had announced two features for the fingerprint sensor, one that you would be able to use it as the shutter button to take photos, which was rolled out earlier this month and now the new OTA update enables locking apps with the fingerprint sensor.
The MIUI V7.3.2.0.LHOMIDD OTA update for the Redmi Note 3 weighs in at 241 MB is currently being rolled out to devices in India. The changelog is quite huge but the gist of it bud fixes, camera and performance improvement with the above mentioned security features.
The update is rolling out now and should be available on all devices within the week.
