Nothing Phone (3) will feature 50MP 3x periscope telephoto camera, and Press Images Surfaced with Transparent Design
Nothing has officially confirmed that the upcoming Nothing Phone (3) will feature a 50MP periscope telephoto lens, along with the camera placement. The phone will support 3x optical zoom and up to 60x ultra zoom, and also offer 10cm telemacro functionality, similar to what’s seen on the Nothing Phone 3a (Pro). However, the company noted that the camera bump is 74% slimmer compared to the 3a (Pro). Nothing has also shared a few macro photo samples taken with the device.
The company previously confirmed that the Phone (3) will be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC. A recent Geekbench listing shows the device scored 2076 in single-core and 6577 in multi-core tests — performance that matches the POCO F7, but trails slightly behind the iQOO Neo 10, which uses the same chipset.
Nothing already confirmed Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC for the phone, and recently the geekbench listing revealed first Nothing phone to come with 16GB of RAM. It will ship with Android 15 and run Nothing OS 3.3 out of the box. Now, the Official press renders of the Nothing Phone (3) have surfaced, giving a clear look at the phone's complete design.
The images reveal the telephoto camera placed above the main and ultra-wide lenses, with the LED flash positioned at the top. As previously teased by the company, the Glyph Matrix for notifications is visible in the top-right corner.
The device features a transparent back design, staying true to Nothing’s signature aesthetic, and will be available in Black and White color options. An Essential Key is also visible below the power button. The phone sports slim bezels, appearing even thinner than those on the Phone (2) and Phone (3a) series.
Earlier leaks suggest that the Phone (3) will feature a 6.7-inch LTPO OLED display, a 50MP main, 50MP ultra-wide, and 50MP front-facing camera. Certifications have also confirmed a 5,150mAh battery with support for 65W wired fast charging. More information is expected to surface before the official launch on July 1st.
