After announcing the Nothing Phone (2a) Plus launch set for July 31st, the company has now confirmed that it will feature the MediaTek Dimensity 7350 Pro SoC, an upgrade from the Dimensity 7200 Pro in the Phone 2a.

The Dimensity 7350 Pro offers a clock speed of up to 3GHz, compared to the 2.8GHz of the 7200, making it 10% faster. Additionally, it includes a faster Mali-G610 MC4 GPU with a clock speed of up to 1.3GHz, which the company claims is 30% faster than the GPU in the 7200 Pro.

The new SoC supports 4K video recording for both the front and rear cameras, as well as HDR images and HDR10+ playback. It also includes Dual 5G, Bluetooth 5.3, and Wi-Fi 6 support.

The phone will still offer 12GB of RAM and up to 8GB of virtual RAM. More details are expected in the coming days before the official launch next Wednesday. The event will be streamed online at nothing.tech.
