Nokia's PureView camera expert is coming back to the company
Juha Alakarhu, the camera expert behind Nokia's PureView tech and one of the most impressive smartphone camera achievements, the 41MP camera sensor on a smartphone is coming back to Nokia.

He had earlier moved to Microsoft after Nokia was acquired but with the recent shakeup shake-up and layoffs, Juha found his way back home. He is joining Nokia as the head of imaging for company's Ozo 360-degree Virtual Reality camera.
Microsoft is in the process of killing its smartphone division and has almost laid off a majority hired during the Nokia transition. There has been mass layoffs in its phone division and amid Nokia's resurrection many of the former employees are making there way back to the company.
Nokia is expected to make a huge comeback in 2017 with two smartphones running on Android Nougat and Snapdragon 820. The company will also be making feature phones in FoxConn manufacturing facilities in India.
