New Motorola Moto X launched in India, starts at Rs. 31999
Motorola has launched the New Moto X in India with a starting price of Rs. 31,999. The new 2nd gen Moto X comes with a 5.2-inch 1080p full-HD AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection powered by a 2.5 GHz Quad-core Snapdragon 801 SoC with Adreno 330 GPU running Android 4.4.4 KitKat right out of the box with a promise of swift update to Android L when it launches. There's a 13 MP primary camera with a circular dual-LED ring flash at the back and a 2 MP front-camera.
The new Moto X comes with 16 GB of non-expandable storage which can be a deal breaker for the many and a smallish 2300 mAh battery. There's 2 GB RAM onboard just like previous-gen Moto X. Battery life is not expected to be great but you can get about a day's worth of usage owing to the power saving AMOLED display and Motorola's optimizations. Moto X is a single-SIM device and uses a nano-SIM card slot. Connectivity options include 3G support, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, GPS with GLONASS support and NFC.
2nd Gen Moto X will be available starting mid-night tonight from Flipkart for Rs. 31999 for the normal black and white variants. The Bamboo and Leather variants will cost more.
