Motorola edge 50 Pro Surfaced Online Revealing 3 Colors with faux leather texture; Expected Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC
Motorola is gearing up to introduce its latest flagship smartphone, possibly named Edge+ (2024) upon its debut in the US. Android Headlines has recently shared new renders of the anticipated device, offering a comprehensive look from multiple perspectives.
The design of the Edge 50 Pro seems to refine its predecessor's aesthetics, featuring subtle enhancements like the curved back surrounding the camera module. It will be offered in black, purple, and silver variants, with the silver model boasting a faux leather texture on its rear.
The phone is set to feature a triple camera setup, comprising a 50MP primary sensor with an f/1.4 aperture, an ultrawide-angle lens, and a telephoto camera offering 6x zoom capabilities. Reports indicate that the camera system will integrate laser autofocus and optical image stabilization for improved performance.
Expected specifications include a 6.7-inch display with a 165Hz refresh rate, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor coupled with 12GB of RAM. It will pack a 4,500 mAh battery, supporting 125W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
Initially, the Motorola edge 50 Pro may debut in China as the Motorola X50 Ultra, potentially featuring AI-powered functionalities. While an official launch date remains unconfirmed, leaks suggest a possible unveiling in the first week of April.
As the launch date draws nearer, more details are likely to surface, leading up to Motorola's official announcement.
