Motorola Edge 50 launched in India for Rs.27,999 with 6.67-inch 1.5K pOLED curved display, Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC, military-grade durability
Motorola has officially launched its latest smartphone in the Edge series, the Motorola Edge 50 in India, as promised. This new smartphone meets the MIL-810H standard, allowing it to endure extreme temperatures, pressure, shocks, vibrations, dust, and salt fog. It also boasts an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
The Edge 50 features a 6.67-inch curved pOLED display with a peak brightness of up to 1600 nits. It runs on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 Accelerated Edition 4nm SoC, and includes a vapor chamber cooling system, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage. It is based on Android 14, with Motorola committing to 2 years of Android updates and 3 years of security updates.
For photography, the phone sports a 50MP rear camera with a Sony LYT-700C sensor, a 13MP 120° ultra-wide camera with a macro option, and a 10MP telephoto camera with up to 30x digital zoom. There's also a 32MP front camera. It is powered by a 5000mAh battery that supports 68W wired fast charging and 15W wireless charging.

The Motorola Edge 50 comes in Jungle Green and Pantone Peach Fuzz with a vegan leather finish, and the Koala Grey has a vegan suede finish. The phone's price is Rs.27,999 for 8GB RAM with 256Gb storage version, and it will be available from August 8th on Motorola.in, Flipkart and offline stores.
