Motorola announces Moto Z4 with 6.4-inch FHD+ OLED display, 48MP camera and in-display fingerprint sensor with Mods.
Last month, Amazon "accidentally" shipped the unreleased Moto Z4 to a customer. Now Motorola has officially launched the Moto Z4 in the US.
Hardware and Features
The Moto Z4 comes with a 6.4-inch Full HD+ OLED screen with 4 GB RAM and 128 GB storage. You can expand the internal storage up to 2 TB. The device runs on Snapdragon 675 SoC with stock Android 9 (Pie) underpinnings.
At the back you get just a single camera. A 48-megapixel camera with Quad Pixel technology to capture 12 MP images along with OIS, artificial intelligence (AI) features. In the front you get a 25-MP selfie camera with 1.8µm Quad Pixel mode for higher quality 6.25 MP images. The front camera also features portrait mode and AI-based beautification.
The Z4 is the first Motorola device with an in-display fingerprint scanner. In terms of build, the back cover is made of 2.5D Gorilla Glass 3 and the frame is made from 6000 series polished aluminium. You also get P2i nano-coating to protect your phone from water splashes.
On the inside you get a 3600 mAh battery with support for TurboPower charging at 15W.
The Moto Z4 will be available in Flash Grey and Frost White colors priced at $499.99 (Rs. 34,900 approx.)
This Z4 is now available for pre-order in the US. The Moto 360 Camera Mod will also be available separately from June 6. There's also a 5G Moto Mod which will be sold by Verizon for $199.99.
