Moto G4 Plus leaks ahead of launch, here is the retail box, official specs and real images
The Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus are launching today in India. We finally have a look at the official specs, retail box and the actual Moto G4 Plus smartphone thanks to a leak.
The leaked retail box is for the Moto G4 Plus which says that the phone will come with a 5.5-inch 1080p display running on an octa-core processor with 2GB RAM, 32GB internal storage and a 3000 mAh battery. It also has a 16MP rear camera with phase-detection autofocus (PDAF) and a 5MP front camera for selfies.
According to the retail box, the Moto G4 Plus also supports Turbo Charging (Fast Charging) and can give 5 hours of use with just a 15 minute charge. We would have to see whether the turbo charger is included in the box. This is pretty much in line with previous leaked specifications of the device and in the leaked retail package it seems Motorola is also packing its Moto Shell cover for the Moto G4 Plus.
Coming to design, the Moto G4 Plus looks exactly like the white render we saw earlier. You have a squarish fingerprint sensor/home button in the front with a microphone next to it and it seems the frame is made of metal. The back is relatively clean with the classic Motorola dimple but the camera bump is quite noticeable especially with its metallic frame. But it seems that you have another sensor above the camera which can be a laser autofocus sensor to provide more accurate and quick focus.
Both the volume and power buttons can be seen on the right and the sides are rounded on the device for a better grip. The back material seems to be matte and should be removable, but we can't confirm that with these images.
The Moto G4 India launch starts in just a few hours from now and we'll have a better look at the device then. Stay tuned!
