Microsoft sends press invites for IFA event on September 4th, Lumia 830 to star in show
Microsoft has begun sending out press invites for its IFA 2014 event on September 4th in Berlin. The invite reads "Ready for more" with the "o" in more replaced by the camera module of the oft leaked Lumia 830. Moreover the invite adds "Join us for more face time" which definitely hints at the selfie focused phone that we have heard Microsoft was working on.
The Lumia 830 is expected to be the star of the show with a 4.5-inch 720p display and the same 20 MP PureView camera found on the higher-end Lumia devices like the Icon, Lumia 1520 and such. This news was broken by TK Tech News alongwith a short video which you can see above. LTE will be in tow alongwith Windows Phone 8.1 running the entire show. The Lumia 830 will be a mid-range device featuring microSD card for storage expansion. A dual-SIM variant of the Lumia 830 might also be in the cards.
