Micromax Canvas A116i available online

Micromax Canvas A116i is now available on eBay and Snapdeal for Rs. 13137, and from the specs it seems there's nothing new in the device and its a mere name change with an "i" in it. So you have a 5-inch HD IPS display, 1.2 GHz quad-core processor, 1 GB RAM and 8 MP primary camera accompanied by a 2 MP front facing camera same as the Canvas HD A116. Although, we can't be absolutely certain about the specs, but the listings on both eBay and Snapdeal show the same story. However, the phone does come with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean while Canvas HD originally shipped with Android 4.1 but was later upgraded to 4.2.

Either Micromax forgot to make changes to the device before launching it, or sellers forgot to check the box for specs. Whatever the reason, we'll get to the bottom of this.
