LeTV Le 1s goes official in China with 5.5-inch 1080p display, 3GB RAM, Fingerprint Sensor priced at $173
LeTV, a popular Chinese video streaming networks launched its new Le 1s smartphone today in China. It runs on MediaTek Helio X10 octa-core SoC with 3GB RAM, 32GB non-expandable storage, 5.5-inch 1080p display. Android Lollipop comes with the company's own EUI 5.5 on top.
The LeTV Le 1s is a dual-SIM 4G LTE smartphone and has a 13MP rear ISOCELL camera with PDAF (Phase Detection AutoFocus), 5MP front-camera with Samsung sensor again. It has a metal construction with a non-removable 3000 mAh battery which supports fast charging over its USB Type C port. LeTV says that with the boxed 24 watt charger you can get 3.5 hours of talktime on the device with just 5 minutes of charge. There is a fingerprint sensor at the back as well, similar to Huawei's implementation.
Other connectivity options include dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and probably FM Radio as well. The LeTV 1s has been priced at 1099 Chinese Yuan (about $173 / Rs. 11,250). The company might be planning to bring the phone to India as well.
