LeEco announces 5000 mAh powerbank with USB Type-C port
Just just month LeEco announced three new smartphones, the Le 2, Le 2 Pro and Le Max 2 in China, all featuring USB Type-C port for charging and audio. Now to accompany them, the company has announced its own USB Type-C powerbank.
The 5000 mAh powerbank from LeEco supports two way fast charging over its Type-C port with support for charging at 5V/3A, 9V/2A and 12V/1.5A. The power bank uses a Texas Instruments chip to protect from to protect your phone from over charge, over voltage, high temperature.
A two way USB Type-C cable will be included with the power bank, therefore you would need a USB Type-C charger to charge the powerbank. Xiaomi too launched its own USB Type-C power bank earlier but that one comes with a USB Port alongwith a USB Type-C port as well.
At present the LeEco 5000 mAh powerbank is available in white colors only, you can purchase it from LeMall in China starting May 10th for CNY 179 (about Rs. 1800). It may launch in India as well alongside the Le 2 as the company has already started selling accessories from LeMall India.
