Lava Blaze Duo 5G launching in India on December 16 with dual AMOLED displays

    Lava has officially confirmed the launch of its upcoming smartphone, the Blaze Duo 5G in India on December 16. Positioned in the ₹20,000 price range, it will be the first device in its segment to feature a dual-display setup, including a secondary AMOLED rear display.

    The Blaze Duo 5G will feature a 1.58-inch secondary AMOLED screen, slightly smaller than the 1.74-inch display on the Agni 3 5G. This secondary display will support functions such as receiving calls, viewing notifications, and accessing everyday apps like the music player.

    The main display is a 6.67-inch 120Hz 3D curved AMOLED screen. The phone will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7025 SoC, paired with 6GB or 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage. For photography, it will include a 64MP Sony sensor as the primary rear camera, a secondary rear camera, and a 16MP front camera. Additional features include an in-display fingerprint scanner and a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging.

    Lava has also revealed that the Blaze Duo 5G will sport a premium matte finish design and will be available in two colours: Celestial Blue and Arctic White. It will run Android 14 out of the box with no bloatware, and the company has committed to providing an Android 15 update in the near future.

    The Blaze Duo 5G will be available on Amazon.in following its launch. The exact pricing will be announced on December 16 at 12 noon.
