iQOO 12 Pro will feature 2K 144Hz E7 AMOLED display, up to 16GB RAM, 1TB storage, IP68 rating, and more
iQOO has officially announced that the iQOO 12 Pro will boast a 2K 144Hz Samsung E7 AMOLED display, a step up from the E6 screen featured in the iQOO 11 series. After unveiling the iQOO 12 series design a few days ago, and recently confirmed the launch of iQOO 12 5G in India on December 12.
The 12 Pro variant will showcase a curved screen design, with the phone's back and frame adopting a curved form. On the other hand, the iQOO 12 will sport a flat screen design and a flat frame, with both models incorporating oval camera modules.
Furthermore, iQOO has already verified the use of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC for the phone, making it the second phone to employ this flagship SoC after the Xiaomi 14 series. iQOO has also officially revealed a dedicated Q1 self-developed gaming chip for the series, with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage, intended for use in the iQOO 12 Pro model.
According to the company, the vapor chamber area in the iQOO 12 series has been increased by over 40% compared to the iQOO 11 series. They have implemented a four-zone heat dissipation architecture alongside a 6K ultra-large vapor chamber area.
The series will include the largest ultra-wide vibration motor in iQOO's history. Additionally, the symmetrical three-dimensional dual speakers promise an immersive gaming experience. iQOO 12 series comes with a super graphite battery that will support up to 120W Ultra-fast flash charging. It also confirmed that the iQOO 12 series will have IP68 ratings for dust and water resistance.
The iQOO 12 series will be available in White Legend Edition and Black Track Edition, featuring an AG glass back, as well as a Red color option with a leather-like finish. The series is set to be unveiled on November 7th.
