Infinix Smart 9 HD launched in India at Rs.6,699 with 6.7-inch 90Hz display, Stereo Speakers, IP54 ratings
Infinix has launched its latest budget 4G smartphone, the Infinix Smart 9 HD in India, as the successor to the Smart 8 HD launched in 2023. The device features a 6.67-inch HD+ punch-hole display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a Dynamic Bar for notifications.
The smartphone features DTS and stereo speakers for enhanced audio. It’s among the first in India to use the MediaTek Helio G50 SoC, which is paired with 3GB RAM and an additional 3GB of virtual RAM via memory fusion. Running on Android 14 Go Edition, Infinix claims the phone will deliver over three years of lag-free performance.
Built for durability, the Smart 9 HD has undergone drop testing 2.5 lakh times, according to the company. It features a 13MP AI-assisted rear camera, an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance, and a 5000mAh battery with 15W fast charging support, though it includes a 10W charger in the box.

The Infinix Smart 9 HD is available in Coral Gold, Metallic Black, Mint Green, and Neo Titanium color options. Priced at Rs. 6,699, it can be purchased for Rs. 6,199 with a Rs. 500 bank offer. The smartphone will be available for purchase on Flipkart starting February 4th at 12 PM.
