HUAWEI Pura 70 Ultra, Pura 70 Pro and Pura 70 launched Globally with 6.8-inch FHD+ 120Hz LTPO OLED display, Variable Aperture Camera
HUAWEI recently unveiled the Pura 70 series in China, and now, three models from this series—the Pura 70, Pura 70 Pro, and Pura 70 Ultra—are available worldwide, while the Pura 70 Pro Plus remains exclusive to China.
Design and Display -
The Pura 70 Series by HUAWEI introduces a fresh appearance, featuring a distinct triangular camera module on the rear. While the standard version boasts a flat design, the Pro models come with slightly curved edges. All models feature high refresh rate displays, with the standard version sporting a 6.6-inch screen, and the others equipped with larger 6.8-inch quad-curved OLED displays.
They all integrate LTPO technology, providing a dynamic refresh rate ranging from 1 to 120Hz, along with 1440Hz PWM dimming and a 300Hz sampling rate for improved responsiveness. The displays are safeguarded by second-generation Kunlun glass.
Camera -
Under the XMAGE branding, the Pura 70 series offers various camera configurations. The Pura 70 has a triple rear camera system consisting of a 50MP primary sensor, a 13MP ultrawide-angle lens, and a 12MP periscope telephoto unit.
The Pura 70 Pro has a 50MP main camera, a 12.5MP ultrawide-angle lens, and a third 48MP macro telephoto camera. All models support variable aperture ranging from f/1.4 to f/4.0, with OIS stabilization for both main and telephoto sensors.
The top-tier Pura 70 Ultra features a 1-inch camera with a retractable lens, offering a variable aperture from f/1.6 to f/4.0, along with a sensor-shift anti-shake feature. This model presents a 50MP main camera, a 40MP ultrawide sensor, and a 50MP macro telephoto lens with up to 100x digital zoom.
Processors and Battery -
All these devices are Powered by the Kirin 9010 chip with the Maleoon 910 GPU, the Pura 70 series ensures efficient performance. The standard Pura 70 comes with a 4900mAh battery supporting 66W wired fast charging, 50W wireless charging, and 5W wired/7.5W wireless reverse charging.
The Pura 70 Pro has a 5050mAh battery, while the Ultra variant boasts a 5200mAh battery with 100W wired fast charging, 80W wireless charging, and support for 18W wired/20W wireless reverse charging.
Other Features -
All models feature an IP68 rating, in-screen fingerprint sensor, dual SIM capability, 5G connectivity, Wi-Fi 802.11ax, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and USB Type-C (USB 3.1 Gen 1). Huawei emphasizes satellite connectivity across the Pura 70 series, alongside the integration of its Pangu LLM for AI features. The devices operate on Harmony OS 4.2.
