HUAWEI nova 14, nova 14 Pro and nova 14 Ultra launched with up to 6.81" FHD+ OLED screen, up to 1TB Storage, 50MP Front Camera

HUAWEI has officially launched its latest smartphones in the nova 14 series, nova 14, nova 14 Pro, and the flagship nova 14 Ultra in China, alongside the MateBook Fold ULTIMATE DESIGN.

Nova 14 Ultra -

The nova 14 Ultra features a sleek 7.78mm micro-curved design, paired with a scratch-resistant plaid-patterned glass back and an illuminated ring embedded with 616 starlight diamonds. It comes with an IP68/IP69 rating, offering protection against water immersion up to 2 meters for 30 minutes and resistance to high-pressure water jets.

At the front, the device sports a 6.81-inch LTPO 3.0 quad micro-curved display with a resolution of 2860 × 1272 and 460 PPI. The screen delivers an impressive peak brightness of 5500 nits, supports 1–120Hz adaptive refresh rate, and is protected by Kunlun Glass with 10× drop resistance, enhanced by nano-crystal coating and AI Intelligent Eye Protection for adaptive brightness control.

The rear camera setup includes a 50MP RYYB main sensor (F1.4–F4.0 aperture, OIS, AIS), a 50MP periscope telephoto lens offering 3.7x optical zoom and up to 100x digital zoom, and a 13MP ultra-wide macro lens with a 120° field of view and 2.5cm close-focus capability. A Red Maple Color Lens boosts color accuracy by 120%. The front camera features a 50MP sensor (1/2.5″), supports 0.8 to 5x zoom, uses QPD autofocus, and captures 89.6% more light to enhance low-light selfies.

Powered by Huawei’s DaVinci Portrait Engine, the nova 14 Ultra supports full-focus portrait photography (0.5x–10x), AI Magic Image Shift, and AI portrait retouching. Users can choose from creative photo modes like Livehouse Portraits, Humanities Portraits, and Street Photography. Additional features include Tiantong satellite communication with 9-second connection time, and Star Flash Retrieval, allowing users to locate the phone within 100 meters—even when it's powered off.
