After a lot of speculations, rumors, and renders, Huawei has launched their flagship smartphones, the Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro to take on Apple’s iPhone 8 and iPhone X.  Both the Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro feature near bezel-less displays. Along with the regular variants,  Huawei also launched a special Porsche Design Mate 10 as well.

When it comes to the specs, the Mate 10 features a 5.9-inch QHD (1440x2560 pixels) display while the Mate 10 Pro has a 6-inch full-HD+ (1080x2160pixels) OLED screen. They both have small bezels on the top and the bottom of the screen with higher screen-to-body ratios of 81.79 and 81.61 percent respectively compared to the iPhone X's 81.36 percent.

The Huawei Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro pack the same processor, HiSilicon Kirin 970. The company claims it to be the first chipset with a neural-network processing unit (NPU). The chipset has several AI features which allow the phone to recognize objects in real-time and apply that in creating artificial bokeh in images and also compensate for motion. Huawei calls the implementation MobileAI, which also allows the phone to instantly translate text, voice, and images into more than 50 languages.
