Huawei announces Honor 5C Nougat beta program in India
Huawei has just started recruiting beta testers for its upcoming Nougat update for the Honor 5C. The Nougat beta program is currently live in India.
At present, Honor is looking for 50 users who will be testing the first release of the new EMUI software based on Android 7.0 Nougat for Honor 5C (NEM-L22). Later, a second release will be expanded to 100 users.
There are a few benefits of joining the beta program including some special rewards based on performance, invitations for fan meetups and product launched. But you are expected to spare at least 2 hours a day for testing and reporting issues, along with active participation with other users/moderators of the program.
The Nougat Beta update for the Honor 5C will be based on EMUI 5.0 which comes with an app drawer, stock Android style recent apps cards, dual apps (apps twins) and several other UI changes.
