HTC M8 Mini to include a 4.5-inch HD display, quad-core Snapdragon 400 and 13 MP camera
Prolific leaker @evLeaks has come up with the specs of the HTC M8 Mini, the smaller version of the upcoming flagship smartphone. It is expected to feature a 4.5-inch 720p HD display, 1.4 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor with 1 GB RAM and 16 GB storage which will be expandable using micro SD card. The camera department will include a 13 MP primary shooter with LED flash and a 5 MP front-facing unit. Android 4.4.2 KitKat will also make an appearance with Sense 6.0 and on-screen buttons, which is a departure from HTC's capacitive buttons.

The specifications apart from the camera are quite similar to the Moto G, but the HTC M8 Mini will definitely cost more. Even Sony has tried the small but powerful formula with the Xperia Z1 Compact but that is a high-end device on its own right with a Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor and 2 GB RAM alongwith a 20.7 MP camera. Nevertheless, in a world of phablets there is still space for a 4.5-inch device.
