HONOR X9b launching in India on February 15 with with 6.78-inch FHD+ 120Hz OLED curved display, Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC, 108MP Camera
Following teasers and speculation, HONOR has officially announced the debut of the HONOR X9b smartphone in India on February 15th. According to the company, the device not only boasts a striking curved display but also features enhanced durability, being the first in India to incorporate ultra-bounce display technology with cushioning "Airbag" technology.
Describing it as "built to last," the company emphasizes that this robust device is engineered to endure accidental drops and everyday usage challenges.
Already available in various countries, the phone has been revealed to feature all-angle Drop Resistance certification from Switzerland's SGS. Additionally, specifications include a 6.78″ 1.5K curved AMOLED screen, Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC, 12GB RAM, 108MP rear camera, and a 5800mAh battery. The device will operate on Magic OS 7.2 based on Android 13.
Madhav Sheth, CEO of HONOR India, recently shared unboxing videos of the HONOR Choice EarBuds X5 and the HONOR Choice Watch, hinting at their imminent launch in India.
According to speculation, the HONOR X9b is anticipated to carry a price tag below Rs. 35,000 when bundled with the HONOR Choice Buds, suggesting the standalone phone could be priced below Rs. 30,000. With bank offers taken into account, sources suggest the phone could be available for as low as Rs. 23,999.
A brief online listing unveiled a variant featuring 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage for the phone. The listing also indicated a combo offer featuring the HONOR Choice Earbuds X5E alongside the phone, along with a 12-month screen and back cover warranty, and an extended 24-month battery health guarantee.
