HONOR unveils Magic8 AI Concept “Robot Phone” with multi-modal intelligence, advanced robotics; Global debut set for MWC 2026

HONOR unveiled the HONOR Magic8 AI Concept Version – HONOR ROBOT PHONE at its China launch event, marking a major step in its expanding AI product ecosystem.

According to the company, the device combines multi-modal intelligence, advanced robotics, and next-generation imaging technologies. It features an AI-powered environmental perception system and robotic mobility, enabling it to move autonomously. One of its key highlights is the ability to function as a personal camera assistant, capable of capturing moments such as celebrations and daily activities.

A promotional video released by HONOR also showcases the device assisting users with tasks like choosing outfits and recording dynamic scenes, including skydiving footage.

This concept device is part of HONOR’s broader “ALPHA PLAN”, first announced earlier this year. The company describes the Robot Phone as the next phase in the evolution of smart devices, moving beyond traditional smartphones toward AI-driven companions. The initiative aligns with HONOR’s ambition to become a global leader in the AI device ecosystem.

HONOR confirmed that the HONOR ROBOT PHONE will make its official debut at MWC 2026 in Barcelona.
