HONOR to Announce Magic V3, Magic Vs3, MagicPad 2, and MagicBook Art 14 on July 12 in China
HONOR has announced its upcoming flagship product launch event in China on July 12th, where it will unveil the HONOR Magic V3 and HONOR Magic Vs3 foldable phones, alongside the HONOR MagicPad 2 tablet (12.3″) and the HONOR MagicBook Art 14 Notebook.
Recently, HONOR introduced AI defocus eye protection technology to combat the increasing issue of near-sightedness caused by prolonged screen use. This innovation will debut in the MagicPad 2 tablet. Using AI, the technology simulates defocus glasses on the device’s display, helping to maintain clear central vision while inducing controlled defocus in the peripheral visual field. According to HONOR, this approach can slow down the process of eye elongation, thereby reducing the risk of near-sightedness.
During the MWC 2024 Shanghai World Mobile Communications Conference, Zhao Ming, Head of HONOR Business, highlighted that the HONOR Magic V3 foldable phone will push the boundaries of thinness and lightness in foldable screens.
The previous HONOR Magic V2 measured just 9.9mm when folded and 4.7mm when unfolded, and the Magic V3 is expected to be even thinner. According to earlier reports, the phone will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, support for 5.5G networks, satellite calling, 66W fast charging, and a battery larger than 5000mAh, surpassing its predecessor.
