HONOR 400 and HONOR 400 Pro launched in China with 6.55-inch 120Hz AMOLED display, Snapdragon 7 Gen 4/8 Gen 3 SoC, 7200mAh battery
HONOR has launched its latest smartphone in the HONOR 400 series, the HONOR 400 Pro and HONOR 400 in China, featuring different specifications from their global counterparts. Both models sport a 6.55″ FHD+ OLED flat display with a 120Hz refresh rate and an impressive HDR peak brightness of up to 5000 nits.
The standard HONOR 400 is the first device to run on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, unlike the global variant which uses the Gen 3 version. Meanwhile, the HONOR 400 Pro continues to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. Both phones feature a sturdy metal frame and are rated IP68 and IP69 for dust and water resistance.
Camera specifications remain unchanged. Both phones come equipped with a 200MP main camera featuring a large 1/1.4-inch sensor, f/1.9 aperture, and dual OIS + EIS stabilization, alongside a 12MP ultra-wide camera with a 112° field of view and macro capabilities.
The HONOR 400 Pro includes a 50MP 3x telephoto lens supporting up to 50x zoom, while the regular HONOR 400 achieves up to 30x zoom via the main camera. Both devices also offer a 50MP front-facing portrait camera with an f/2.0 aperture.
In terms of battery, the Chinese models upgrade from the global version's 5300mAh capacity to a 7200mAh silicon-carbon battery. The HONOR 400 supports 80W wired SuperCharge, while the Pro variant features 90W SuperCharge and 50W wireless charging.
