Re-designed Google Play Store is now rolling out

A little while back we got a glimpse of the changes coming to the Google Play Store. Now the update is being rolled out with a refreshed look which showcases apps and entertainment separately.

Now there are just two tabs, "Apps & Games" and "Entertainment". The internal categorization remains the same with Top Charts, Games while Entertainment gets Books, Music, Movies, TV among others.

Google has also added a badge to show apps compatible with Android Wear, saying "Enhanced for Android Wear." Some animations have also been revamped with the including of elastic scrolling. The new Play Store 5.0 will also highlight apps at the top of the interface, mainly new releases or top apps from a category.

The rollout will be gradual, at present I am still waiting on the update.
