Google Pixel and Pixel XL live photos leak ahead of official announcement

We have already seen renders, leaked images and a lot more of the upcoming Google Pixel phones. But for the first time, we now have live images of both the phones. Although the logos, IMEI codes at the back have been blurred out, you can still clearly see the design of both phones.

Now, both the Pixel and Pixel XL look unmistakably like the HTC One A9 and in-extension the iPhone 6s. But the fingerprint sensor is still at the back. The white color variants would possibly have a silver metal bezel as seen in the images above. Then you can also see the glass portion on the back which looks a bit strange but may service for NFC connectivity.

You can also see the bottom antenna band clearly on the device. Although we can't make out the port used on the device, but its seems to be a USB Type-C port at the bottom. The volume rocker and power button can be found on their usual spot on the right. Now, the front of the phone is even more reminiscent of Apple's design language.

You can 2.5D curved glass protecting the front panel. Above the display you can see the front facing camera, proximity/light sensors and the main earpiece. While there maybe a logo at the bottom which has been blurred out. The major difference between the design of both phones is the display size. The Pixel is supposed to carry a 5-inch display while the Pixel XL should come with a 5.5-inch screen. Both are expected to run on Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box with Snapdragon 821, 4GB RAM starting at a whopping $649 starting price.

Google has officially announced an event on October 4th, where both phones will be unveiled.
