BlackBerry announces Affordable Z3 and QWERTY Q20 touchscreen smartphones
If you think BlackBerry was down and out, think again. Although still down, BlackBerry has just launched two new smartphones the very affordable Z3 and a touch-type QWERTY Q20 running BlackBerry OS 10. Both phones feature popular services like BBM, BlackBerry Hub and FM Radio, but that's not all. Let's have a closer look at their specifications and price.
BlackBerry Z3
The Z3 is the first smartphone made by Foxconn for BlackBerry, which is the result of a partnership struck between the two in December. It features a 5-inch display, dual-core processor running BlackBerry 10 OS version 10.2.1. There's a 5 MP camera at the back as well with a LED Flash, 1.1 MP front-facing camera alongwith a very generous 2650 mAh battery.
The Z3 is expected to go on sale in Indonesia starting in April for less than $200 unlocked and off-contract. At present though there is no word on a global rollout.
BlackBerry Q20
BlackBerry announced another smartphone at MWC 2014, its the Q20 QWERTY smartphone with 3.5-inch touch screen, hardware keys for menu, back, send, end as well as the traditional trackpad.
Although there isn't much information about the specs or price of the BlackBerry Q20, it is expected to go on sale in the second half of 2014.
