Asus completes its Zenfone series in India with the launch of Zenfone 3 Laser as well
Asus India today launched its entire Zenfone 3 line-up in India starting with Zenfone 3, then the Zenfone 3 Ultra and Deluxe variants. The company didn't stop there and is also bringing the Zenfone 3 Laser to India.
Zenfone 3 Laser
The Asus Zenfone 3 Laser ZC551KL builds on the success of the previous-gen Laser variant with better build quality and upgraded specs. You now have a 5.5-inch 1080p IPS display running on the Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor same as the Redmi 3S Prime. There's 4GB RAM onboard with 32GB expandable storage with other variants also available.
All this is run by Android Marshmallow based ZEN UI 3.0 which comes with a lot of new enhancements including improved battery life with Doze Mode, App Permissions, Google Now on Tap among others. You also have a 13MP f/2.0 rear camera here capable of recording 1080p videos and an 8MP camera for selfies.
Asus Zenfone 3 Laser Hands-on and First Look
Asus has packed a 3000 mAh battery in a thin 7.9mm metal shell which is about 150 grams in weight, shouldn't be that bulky and just like the rest of the Zenfone 3 line-up you have a fingerprint sensor here as well on the back of the phone.
Zenfone 3 Laser: Pricing / Availability
The Zenfone 3 Laser has been priced at Rs. 18999 in India for the 4GB RAM variant with 32GB onboard storage. It will be available starting in September.
