ASUS Zenfone 12 Ultra to be launched on February 6 Globally with AI-Powered Mobile Photography

    ASUS has officially announced the global launch of its latest flagship smartphone, the Zenfone 12 Ultra in the Global Market, scheduled for February 6th, the successor to last year’s Zenfone 11 Ultra. The event invitation highlights a 4K video recording with focus lock capabilities. The company teased, “The Zenfone 12 Ultra unlocks the power of AI, so get ready to step into a new era of mobile photography excellence!” but has not disclosed further specifications.

    According to earlier reports, the Zenfone 12 Ultra is expected to be a rebranded version of the ROG Phone 9, following the pattern of the Zenfone 11 Ultra, which was a rebranded ROG Phone 8. A model number, ASUSAI2501H, has also surfaced in the IMEI database, hinting at its arrival.

    Expected specifications include a 6.78-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with HDR, 1-120Hz LTPO refresh rate, Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, and up to 512GB UFS 4.0 storage. The camera setup is anticipated to feature a 50MP Sony LYTIA 700 main sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide lens, a 32MP 3x telephoto lens, and a 5800mAh battery with support for 65W fast charging and 15W wireless charging.

    Launch Event -

    The launch event for the ASUS Zenfone 12 Ultra is set to take place on February 6th, starting at 2:30 PM Taiwan Time (12:00 PM IST). As with previous launches, the company is expected to provide a live stream of the event.
