Apple AirPods Pro 3 launched in India for Rs. 25,900 with Advanced ANC, Health Tracking, and Live Translation
Apple has launched the AirPods Pro 3 with significant upgrades, including enhanced Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), Adaptive EQ, improved fit, health and fitness tracking, and built-in Live Translation. The earbuds feature a reengineered internal design for a more secure fit, complemented by foam-infused ear tips available in five sizes (XXS–L). Rated IP57 for sweat and water resistance, the ear tips are ergonomically refined using data from over 300 million ear scans to ensure maximum comfort and stability.
Powered by Apple’s multiport acoustic architecture, the AirPods Pro 3 deliver immersive spatial audio with a wider soundstage, deeper bass, and crystal-clear vocals for music, calls, and video. The next-generation Adaptive EQ fine-tunes audio in real time for consistent quality.
Apple claims the new ANC is twice as effective as the AirPods Pro 2 and four times stronger than the first-generation model. Transparency mode has also been refined to reproduce voices with natural clarity. Battery life is rated at up to 8 hours with ANC enabled and up to 10 hours in Transparency mode per charge.
Health and Fitness Features -
The AirPods Pro 3 introduce new health-focused tools, including:
- A custom heart rate sensor that uses photoplethysmography (PPG) and infrared light
- Tracking for over 50 workout types, heart rate, calories burned, and Move ring progress
- Sensor fusion combining accelerometer, gyroscope, GPS, and on-device AI
- Workout Buddy, which delivers personalized insights based on workout history
- Real-time performance metrics within Apple Fitness+
They also expand hearing features with Hearing Protection, Conversation Boost, and a built-in Hearing Test.
Live Translation -
AirPods Pro 3 support Live Translation (beta), offering hands-free, real-time translation in English, French, German, Portuguese, and Spanish, with Italian, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese set to be added later this year. Active Noise Cancellation helps cut background noise for clearer conversations, while the iPhone provides live on-screen transcription.
Environmental Impact -
Apple highlights sustainability with AirPods Pro 3, which use 40% recycled materials, including 100% recycled cobalt in the battery and 65% recycled plastic in the case. Production uses 40% renewable electricity, and the packaging is entirely fiber-based and recyclable. The design emphasizes durability while adhering to Apple’s energy efficiency and safety standards.
