Google's Android One expands to Indonesia with three new models running Android 5.1 Lollipop

Alongwith the announcement of Android Lollipop coming to Android One devices in India, Google also announced the launch of 3 three new Android One devices for Indonesia. At present the Android One budget smartphones are available in India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Nepal.

Google has launched the Evercross One X, Mito Impact and Nexian Journey in Indonesia all running Android 5.1 Lollipop. Specs are similar to their Indian counterparts with a 4.5-inch FWVGA display, 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582M processor, 5 MP AF rear camera with LED flash and a 2 MP front facing camera. There's 1700 mAh battery on board but these come with 8 GB ROM (in India Android One devices come with 4 GB ROM) and the same 1 GB RAM. Google has furthermore promised to update Android One devices for the next 2 years.

In Indonesia, Google has decided to go through online and well as retail channels.
