Android Marshmallow arrives for the Redmi Note 3 with CyanogenMod 13
Official build of CyanogenMod 13 is now available for the Redmi Note 3 with Android Marshmallow onboard. It comes with all its stock goodness, including Doze mode for better battery life, native app permissions, better fingerprint sensor support, Now on Tap and a lot more.
This is a stable build of Marshmallow based CM13 for the Redmi Note 3, meaning you can use this as a daily driver. But installation is not for the faint of heart. Although this will not void your warranty, but it may brick your device to fix which you would have to visit a service center. But if you follow the steps to a tee, there shouldn't be a problem.
First thing to note here is that this is just for the Snapdragon 650 variant of the Redmi Note 3 and this will erase all data on your device, so take a manual backup before you proceed. You can download the files from the source link below.
