Amazfit Up Open-Ear earbuds launched with up to 24h total playback, AI Assistant

Amazfit has launched its first Open-Ear Earbuds, the Amazfit Up in the USA, which design offers comfort, safety, and style for active users. These earbuds are aimed at those who want to stay aware of their surroundings without compromising sound quality. They are ideal for activities like running and walking, delivering excellent audio while ensuring comfort.

With an open-ear design, the earbuds enhance safety by allowing users to hear ambient sounds, while the lightweight build and ear clip provide a secure fit during intense workouts. They feature Bluetooth 5.3 and offer up to six hours of music playback, with an additional 18 hours available from the compact, USB-rechargeable case.

When connected to a compatible Amazfit smartwatch, users can utilize Zepp Flow, an AI-powered assistant that enables hands-free control, including adjusting settings and sending speech-to-text messages on Android devices. Amazfit T-Rex 3 users can activate Zepp Flow with a triple press of the earbuds.

The earbuds also allow users to listen to music stored on compatible Amazfit watches, eliminating the need for a phone during workouts. Bluetooth calling is supported, with easy call answering via a tap, while AI noise reduction ensures clear calls even in noisy environments. Touch controls are resistant to humidity and sweat, preventing accidental activation, and the earbuds use AI to minimize background noise during calls.

They can pair seamlessly with multiple devices, relay training data and directions from connected Amazfit watches, and allow voice control of smartwatches. The IPX4 water-resistant rating makes them suitable for various activities.
