New Asus "Republic of Gamers" Laptops and Desktops launched in India
Asus today officially launched its new Intel Skylake based ROG series Laptops and Desktops in India. Started in 2006, the Asus "Republic of Gamers" brand is celebrating 10 years in the space and has the largest marketshare in gaming PC's in the world.
Asus launched a slew of PC's at the event all of which run on a 6th-gen Intel Core i7 variant and NVIDIA 900 series graphics. So, lets have a look at all the Gaming PC's launched today.
Asus ROG GT51
The biggest and baddest of the bunch runs on the overclockable Intel Core-i7 6700K processor with support for upto 4 TX Titan X (2-way SLI) to run three 4K monitors at the same time. The large ATX chassis is made of Armor Titanium with a plasma copper finish. There is a transparent side window here to take a peak at the liquid cooled innards. Moreover, you can customize the lighting of the device with upto 8 million colors. There's upto 64GB RAM on offer as well and all this comes in at a hefty price tag for Rs. 3,25,900 and that's without a monitor. But you will get a gaming keyboard and mouse with the Tower.
Asus ROG G752VY
With a 17.3-inch display, 6th-generation Intel Core i7 processor and upto 64GB RAM coupled with NVIDIA 980m graphics engine, you are looking at a beefy yet portable Gaming machine. To cool the innards Asus has developed 3D Vapor Chamber with 2 Fan outlets for faster cooling. The ROG G752VY also has a backlit anti-ghosting gaming keyboard which allows for 30-key rollover, meaning it can recognize multiple key strokes together. It has been priced at Rs. 1,79,990.
Asus ROG G501VW
Asus ROG G501VW runs on the NVIDIA GTX960M graphics solution alongwith an Intel Core i7 processor. You can get upto a 4K or 2K display onboard with an IPS panel. There's 16GB RAM onboard and you also get upto 4 512GB SSD here. Asus has also ported its Hyper Cool technology for a more efficient system on the G501VW. Prices start at Rs. 95490.
Asus ROG G551VW
4K IPS display with 178 degree wide-viewing angles with NVIDIA GTX 960M 4GB DDR5 VRAM taking care of graphics. There's 1TB mechanical HDD with 128GB SSD on offer here alongwith improved Sonic Master audio. The ROG G551VW starts at Rs. 100490.
Asus ROG G552VW
Again we have the Quad-core Intel Core i7 processor powering the innards with 16GB RAM, 4GB VRAM on the NVIDIA GTX 960M. You have 1TB Of mechanical storage alongwith 128GB SSD flash storage available here. The ROG GL552VW carries a more familar design with the glowing ROG logo in the front and red bacjlit keyboard. Its more of a mainstream machine with some gaming cred. You can customize the ROG GL552VW with prices starting at Rs. 82490
Asus ROG G20CB
This is quite a portable desktop gaming system running on the new 6th-gen Core i7 6700K processor, support for M.2 SSD with speed upto 6Gbps. You can also customize the ROG G20CB with upto a GTX 980 coupled with a 2k/4k monitor setup for the perfect lag-free gaming experience.
