YU Yureka and Yureka Plus get Cyanogen OS 12.1 update

YU Televentures has finally started rolling out Android 5.1.1 Lollipop based Cyanogen OS 12.1 update for the Yureka and Yureka Plus. The update comes months after the company had said that the update was in beta testing.

There are performance improvements, bug fixes and better thermal control with the new Android update. The new Cyanogen update weighs more than 300 MB and we would recommend downloading it over WiFi.

The update has begun rolling out for both the Yureka and Yureka Plus. But if you want to take the jump before, you can download the OTA update file from here and update your phone from recovery. next up the company is working on the Cyanogen OS 12.1 update for the Yuphoria.
