XOLO Q1010i announced with 5-inch HD display, Sony Exmor R camera sensor for Rs. 13,499

XOLO has announced a new phone in the Q Series, the Q1010i which is the successor of the Q1010 and this time comes with a 8 megapixel Camera with Sony's Exmor R Imaging sensor which has a f/2.0 aperture, 1.4 micron pixel size and is comprised of a 5 element lens. The other specs are great as well, including a 5-inch 720p HD IPS display with One Glass Solution tech for overall thinner smartphone and better touch response.

The XOLO Q1010i is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor with dual-core MALI-400 MP2 GPU and 1 GB RAM. It runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean but XOLO has promised an update to Android 4.4 KitKat in the coming months. The Q1010 had 4 GB of internal storage while the Q1010i comes with 8 GB storage which is expandable using a microSD card.

There's a 2 megapixel camera in the front as well and the XOLO Q1010i comes with a healthy 2250 mAh non-removable Li-Po battery. it also features gesture support using which you can draw a letter on the lockscreen to open a particular app. The Q1010i has been priced at Rs. 13,499 which is a compelling price-point and it will be available later this month.
