This is the Xiaomi Mi Max in the flesh

Xiaomi Mi Max is all set to make its first appearance on May 10th in China with MIUI 8. But we have our first look at the device courtesy of TENAA.

From the listing, we can see that the Mi Max will have capacitive buttons in the front and a fingerprint sensor at the back. Coming to specs, it will sport a 6.4-inch 1080p full-HD display up front with Snapdragon 650 SoC powering the innards.

On the camera front you have 16MP at the back and a 5MP front camera for selfies. Battery is also pegged at 4000 mAh and it looks like the phone will come in two variants, 2GB RAM/16GB storage and 3GB RAM/32GB storage.

So, the specs of the Mi Max are exactly similar to the Redmi Note 3 apart from the larger display size but the Mi Max is expected to run Android Marshmallow based MIUI 8 right out of the box.
