Xiaomi Mi Band 2 launched in India: Here's everything you need to know
Xiaomi has launched the Mi Band 2 in India which now comes with a display and heart-rate sensor. The original Mi Band sparked a revolution in the wearables space and has since then been one of the highest selling fitness bands in India.
Mi Band 2 Specs and Features
Coming to specs, the Mi Band 2 comes with 0.42-inch OLED display which is covered by a scratch resistant glass and anti-fingerprint coating. It can show steps, time and heart-rate. Which brings me to the point of fitness, where the new fitness band from Xiaomi seems to get its heading right.
It now comes with a heart-rate sensor for continuous activity monitoring then there's automatic sleep tracking as well which will benefit from the heart-rate sensor for better accuracy. All of this is powered by a 700 mAh battery which Xiaomi claims is good enough to last 20 days on a single charge, we are inclined to believe this claim given the company was quite on the money with the 30-day battery-life on the original Mi Band.
Xiaomi has been able to keep the weight down to just 7 grams and has also made changes to the band's material to make it more comfortable. The new Mi Band 2 is still IP67 rated for dust and water resistance.
