Xiaomi 13 Pro launched in India at Rs.79,999 with 6.73-inch 2K 120Hz E6 AMOLED display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, 1-inch ultra-large Sony IMX989 sensor

Xiaomi has launched its latest top-end smartphone the Xiaomi 13 Pro in India early this week, after it was launched in the global markets last month. It has a 6.78-inch 2K flexible E6 Samsung AMOLED LTPO screen, with a 1900 nits peak brightness, 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, Dolby Vision, and has 1920Hz PWM dimming, Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection, and in-display fingerprint sensor.

It runs on Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor with a 3400mm²/4642mm² large VC liquid cooling area, 12GB LPPDR5X RAM, 256GB UFS 4.0 storage, and is based on Android 13 with MIUI 14, and the company has promised 3 years of Android updates and 5 Years of security updates for the phone. The Phone has a 3D bio-ceramic back, and offers protection on the device equivalent to IP68 certification in the Indian variant, as per the company.

The Xiaomi 13 Pro has a triple rear camera setup where a 50MP primary cameras with a 1″ ultra-large Sony IMX989 sensor, Leica optics, 8 aspherical lenses, ALD ultra-low reflectance coating, lens edge ink coating, a new cyclic olefin material, and a spin-coated process IR filter, and also support for HyperOIS. Additionally, a 50MP 115° ultra-wide angle camera with 50MP 3.2X telephoto camera, 10cm~infinity focus distance, OIS, and supports 8K video recording.

The new Leica 75mm focal length 75mm telephoto features a floating focus lens design that takes reference from the optical path design of SLR lenses and innovatively divides the six lenses into two groups. It is powered by a 4,820mAh battery that supports 120W wired charging, 50W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging.

Pricing and Availability -

The Xiaomi 13 Pro comes in Ceramic White, Ceramic Black, Flora Green (Ceramic), and Mountain Blue colors, and the price is Rs. 79,999 for a single 12GB RAM with 256GB storage version.  It will be available from  March 10th on mi.com, Amazon India, Mi Home stores, and Mi Retail Partners.

The company also start an early access sale on March 6th at mi.com and select Mi Home stores and Mi Studio. The first 1000 fans who buy the phone in the sale will get a chance to win Xiaomi 13 Pro Merchandise Box.
