Vivo Y39 5G launched in India starting at Rs.16,999 with 6.68-inch 120Hz display, AI features, 6500mAh battery
Vivo has launched its latest smartphones in the Y series, the vivo Y39 5G India, the successor to last year’s Y29 5G. The device features a 6.68-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and is powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC, an upgrade from the Dimensity 6300 in its predecessor. It comes with 8GB of RAM, along with up to 8GB of virtual RAM.
Running on Android 15 with Funtouch OS 15, the Y39 5G will receive two years of Android updates and three years of security patches. It also introduces AI-powered features such as AI Screen Translation, Live Text, AI Audio Algorithm, Circle to Search, and AI SuperLink, making it the first Y series smartphone with AI capabilities.
For photography, the device sports a 50MP primary rear camera paired with a 2MP depth sensor, while the front houses an 8MP selfie camera. It is designed for durability with Military-Grade protection, Shield Glass, SGS certification, an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance, and SCHOTT Xensation α Cover Glass for enhanced toughness. The phone also features a glazed ceramic-like camera ring and a circular Dynamic Light.
The Y39 5G is powered by a 6,500mAh high-density battery supported by BlueVolt technology, 44W FlashCharge, and reverse wired charging. It also comes with a 5-year Long Battery Health guarantee for extended reliability.
