POCO F7 Ultra and F7 Pro launched Globally with 6.67-inch 2K 120Hz OLED display, Snapdragon 8 Elite/8 Gen 3 SoC
POCO has officially launched its latest smartphones in the F7 series, the POCO F7 Ultra and F7 Pro at its global launch event in Singapore, as previously announced. Both devices boast a 6.67-inch 2K AMOLED flat display with ultra-thin 1.9mm bottom bezels, a peak brightness of up to 3200 nits, and a 120Hz refresh rate.
These screens support HDR10+, Dolby Vision, full-brightness DC dimming, a 2560Hz instantaneous touch sampling rate, and 12-bit color depth with 68.7 billion colors. The F7 Ultra features an ultra-narrow bottom frame, 21% slimmer than its predecessor, and introduces an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for the first time in the series.
Under the hood, the F7 Ultra is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, paired with a VisionBoost D7 graphics optimization chip that enables 120fps gaming and 2K super resolution. It incorporates an upgraded dual-channel IceLoop cooling system with a 5400mm² large cooling area for enhanced temperature management. The device offers up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.0 storage.
For photography, the F7 Ultra sports a triple-camera setup, including a 50MP 1/1.55″ Light Fusion 800 sensor with OIS, Xiaomi AISP 2.0, a 13.2EV movie-grade dynamic range, a 32MP ultra-wide camera, and a 50MP 2.5x telephoto camera with a floating lens and a 10cm macro capability. Additionally, it integrates the Surge T1S signal enhancement chip for improved cellular, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth connectivity, with a 20% larger antenna area compared to the previous model.
Both smartphones feature a glass back and a metal frame. The F7 Ultra houses a 5300mAh battery supporting 120W fast charging, enabling a 50% charge in just 13 minutes, along with 50W wireless charging. They are also IP68-rated for dust and water resistance.
The POCO F7 Pro, on the other hand, is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, and up to 512GB UFS 4.0 storage. While it retains the same primary 50MP camera with OIS, it includes an 8MP ultra-wide camera but lacks a telephoto lens. The device shares the same design but features a larger 6000mAh battery with 90W fast charging, though it does not support wireless charging.
Both phones run on Xiaomi HyperOS 2.0 based on Android 15 and are guaranteed four generations of OS updates along with six years of security patches.
